For those of you out there looking for a great cause to be a part of, or just want to learn more about what happens in the Peace Corps we urge you to check out our friend Taylor’s project and if you can make a small donation.
Here’s what she has to say;
I would like to bring your attention to the major project of my service, a nationwide youth business development initiative called “Jovenes Empresarios del Paraguay" in English, Young Entrepreneurs of Paraguay.
This initiative gets kicked off each year with a three day workshop in Paraguay’s capital that invites youth from across the country to participate in an “Apprentice” style competition (Yes, like the TV show. No, we don’t ‘fire’ the kids and send them home) that teaches youths about the basic business concepts, team building, and leadership. I have been the Project Manager for this initiative for the past year, and consider it the cornerstone of my service. But now I need your help.

I ask you all to donate a small amount to this project in order to help it become a reality. You can learn more and donate at http://www.indiegogo.com/JEP

This event is to be held in three weeks, time, so please act quickly.

I thank you all for your support. Let’s make the difference in a young Paraguayan’s life together.
